I remember playing Battleship when I was growing up – my brother and I would play for hours on end, trying to sink the other person’s ships before my own were taken down. I hadn’t really thought about playing Battleship until I was given the opportunity to review the Classic Battleship Movie Edition game and the KRE-O Battleship Combat Chopper set.
My son immediately tore open the KRE-O set. He LOVES to build things and this didn’t disappoint. He had the chopper together in no time and has had a ball playing with it ever since.
After he got the chopper put together, we broke out the Battleship. This set is a little different from the set I had years ago. One side is still the same – you have your battleship and other vessels. With this version, however, you get to fight against aliens!! We had so much fun. I skunked my son in the first game (but he ended up teaching me a lesson later)! And – in the background, you could hear my husband hollering, “You sank my battleship.” It was a lot of fun!!
